The use of generative AI in media production has attractive benefits.   Capturing these efficiencies will require compliance with growing US and International regulations for the inclusion of secure media provenance labeling.   The Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA) has developed a broadly adopted standard for maintaining this information as media flows through production processes where elements of AI will be used to enhance and augment content.    This panel will be a progress report,  exploring the maturity of the standard, the regulatory imperative, look at early technical implementations and deployments in the field.
