The Eluvio Content Fabric (https://eluv.io) is an open and decentralized streaming, content distribution and storage network built for the third generation Internet. As a global network of nodes running the Eluvio Content Fabric Protocol, the Content Fabric provides a next-generation CDN and a complete media delivery pipeline that directly connects publishers and consumers without middle parties, creating a scalable, open and more profitable relationship. With the Eluvio Content Fabric, the functions of a legacy CDN, media cloud and DRM/rights authorization service are replaced by one modern, end-to-end and streamlined protocol. For delivery of premium video, such as live sports, film and streaming TV, streaming quality is ultra-low latency and second-to-none, and the hyper-efficiency of the platform can cut end-to-end costs by up to 80%, as compared to the cost of conventional cloud and CDN solutions. The Content Fabric delivers content with deterministic end-to-end latencies under 3 seconds globally to standard streaming clients (DASH/HLS over HTTP) through its complete, full-featured media stack for premium live streaming, PVOD and FAST channel streaming at scale with native personalization, access control, content protection (DRM, forensic watermarking) and rights control, content stitching, and proof of engagement features. In this talk, Eluvio CEO and Co-Founder Michelle Munson will demonstrate how the Content Fabric: Examples of companies and creators whose content solutions have been powered by Eluvio include UEFA, Amazon Studios/MGM, Sony Pictures, Microsoft, Paramount Studios, Telstra, Warner Bros, WWE, Black Eyed Peas, Dolly Parton, Rita Ora, and others.
