Humber's seminar entitled "Protecting GPS with Resilient PNT Solutions" was held November 17, 2023. With participation of NAB, Triveni Digital, Avateq, Canadian and U.S Government representatives and stakeholders from the GPS/GNSS user communities, the seminar addressed the risks with the loss of GPS and how current systems are (or are not) able to address the issue. A panel discussion with Canadian and U.S government reps as well as industry and the scientific research community will discussed risk factors that Canada faces with loss of GPS service. A demonstration of the latest in R&D on ATSC 3.0 BPS was presented on the Humber B²C Lab test bed. This presentation outlines the above events and findings and represent some of the latest R&D as well as government and community reflections in regards to PNT resilient solutions such as BPS.
