In this three-hour interactive workshop,  Roberto Schaefer, ASC, AIC  will walk attendees through a cinematographer's creative process of crafting iconic cinematic images from words in a script and discussions with the director.  Pre-planning, key crew relationships and inspirations in bringing to life several of his most influential scenes will be explored, highlighting notable projects such as Monsters Ball, Quantum of Solace, Stay, The Paperboy and Finding Neverland.

Clips will be screened, with an in-depth discussion of Mr. Schaefer's methodology.  Set plots, lighting challenges and solutions, and technical choices will all be part of this interactive session.
