[ 1:30 pm - 1:50 pm ] Using Drones to verify FM antenna performance
[ 1:50 pm - 2:10 pm ] Understanding Digital FM Asymmetric Operation
[ 2:10 pm - 2:30 pm ] AM Carrier Power Reduction in All-Digital Service Mode MA3

The AM/FM Radio Performance presentations explain the necessary learning needed by broadcast engineers to describe and employ the digital power levels on a station in order to shift from asymmetrical powers. The presentations also elaborate on the possibilities to reduce the main carrier power in all-digital service mode MA3 without adversely affecting performance as indicated in current simulations and field tests. Additionally, Dielectric and Sixarms demonstrate the technology of solving Maxwell equations in simulation software and comparing simulations to the measured pattern utilizing a drone-based integrated FM pattern measurement system.
