From filming in zero-gravity video to helicopter chase scenes for the Fast & Furious franchise, director/producer AJ Bleyer’s shoots are known for being anything but boring. As an entirely self-taught filmmaker, AJ has made a career of pushing the boundaries of dynamic camera movement and rigging. In this talk, AJ explores the technical and creative approaches behind his most ambitious projects, including:
• The basic anatomy of a cinema camera build
• Tips on how to begin conceptualizing, selling, and executing more creative cinematic concepts
• Working with new, cinema tools, companies, and set dynamics
