Greenscreen effects are now commonplace, but the quality of results varies wildly. In this intermediate session, join Maxim Jago to learn how to build layered compositions using the Ultra Key effect in Premiere Pro. If you have ever wondered about the key principles of working with chromakey effects, this session is for you. Beyond the settings required to get a ‘get a good key’, you’ll learn about managing media with an alpha channel, and working with multiple tracks in Premiere Pro.

In this session, you’ll learn how to:

  • Build multi-layer compositions
  • Work with the Ultra Key effect
  • Review your key directly
  • Apply a ‘garbage’ matte to keyed media
  • Add post-key color corrections to better blend your foreground with your background
