If you’re a video editor who has always found After Effects a bit of a struggle, this is the session for you. It’s hard to get comfortable in any application if you’re not using it consistently, or if you just use it to perform a few small specific tasks. In this session we’ll look how to create graphics for use in your video projects while driving home some of the core features and uses of the application. This way you can start to get more comfortable and work more efficiently in After Effects. Here are some of the topics we will be covering.
• Create dynamic type animations quickly using type animators and presets
• Saving projects for use in Premiere Pro so you can edit them without coming back into Ae
• Create custom keyframe animations using the Graph editor
• Creating custom presets to work more efficiently in After Effects
• Removing problematic elements from video footage using Content Aware fill for video
