Nelson, Alex

Alex Nelson is the founding partner and lead product designer at Zero Optik, an LA-based rehousing company that specializes in building unique lenses for cinematography. As an associate member of the ASC and former IATSE 600 camera assistant, Alex brings a keen eye and personal passion for image-making to the process of re-engineering and rehousing lenses, often taking on unusual or overlooked projects that others have written off. Most recently, Zero Optik’s handiwork has shot projects like Pablo Larrain's El Conde, Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon, and Daliland, starring Ben Kingsley.
