Wang, Haohong

Dr. Haohong Wang oversees TCL’s streaming services and research and development activities in North America. TCL, a global leader in consumer electronics and display technology with over 120,000 employees worldwide, holds the 2nd position globally in the TV and display business and the 4th position in the US mobile phone business. Dr. Wang is a distinguished industry leader and recognized scholar, having received several prestigious awards, including the IEEE MMTC Distinguished Service Award, the APSIPA Industrial Distinguished Leader Award, and the Red-dot Winner Award. He is also a co-author of five books and holds the distinction of being the inventor of over 160 granted patents. Before joining TCL, Dr. Wang held pivotal technical and management roles at renowned companies such as AT&T, Catapult, Qualcomm, Marvell, and Cisco. He earned his Ph.D. from Northwestern University.
