Gregg Katano is a 30+ year entertainment, media, and tech entrepreneur, international speaker, and

educator.

Currently, Gregg is Founder and CEO of Cosmos Collab, an agency that represents leading technology

catalysts and technology companies, helps to demystify the latest emerging tech, and creates innovative

solutions to help companies across all industries navigate the future.

Katano is also partner at Hologate, which creates the world’s most successful immersive media

platforms for location-based virtual reality (20,000,000+ players to-date across 44 countries worldwide),

Chair of ‘Events’ for the Emerging Media Programming peer group of the Academy of Television Arts &

Sciences (‘TV Academy’); Co-Vice Chair of the Producers Guild of America ‘New Media Council’; and

Advisory Member, SXSW ‘Accelerator’ and the Cal State University Entertainment Alliance (CSUEA).

Prior to XR (VR, AR, Metaverse), Katano was an owner/executive producer of a visual effects studio and

one of the earliest adopters and producers of stereoscopic 3D in the early 2000s. He was executive

producer of Red Bull Media House’s first 3D production, ‘Rampage 3D’; senior stereoscopic producer

on XGames 3D: The Movie; producer of the world’s very first high-definition 3D television broadcast

(NBC’s Medium, 13.4m viewership); and creative advisor on live 3D events: Academy Awards: Red

Carpet Experience, Lollapalooza, Foo Fighters, Austin City Limits, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dave Matthews,

and many others.
