As Founder and CEO, Ashesh Shah leads investments in IP-rich high-growth companies that primarily focuses on B2C, B2B2C and emerging tech with particular attention to transformative technologies.

Engaged in private equity and venture capital transactions since the mid-1990s, Ashesh has thrice managed billions of dollars. As the Chief Investment Officer for Peak XV’s Kingfish do Brasil, he steered Brazil’s largest private mid-stream logistics company to USD $2B+ in contracted revenue. At Trikona Capital, Shah managed a publicly listed USD $1B+ fund, backed by institutional investors and major pension funds, focused on Indian infra-related services. As CEO of Spydre, a global venture capital firm, Shah led the funding and active management of over thirty companies, managing a $1.5B+ portfolio with WPP, Merrill Lynch and IBM as limited partners.

Notable investments include Delphi Internet, Healthology, Black Duck Software, Good&Co, PLEJ (Litle&Co), Pipavav Shipyard, and EdCast.

Creator of INFLUENCE by The London Fund, Shah blends traditional fund manager skills with deep operational expertise derived from 30 years globally building, integrating, and leading technology-focused companies, enabling him to actively manage a portfolio.

From concept to IPO, his experience expands across a range of sectors including loyalty, category management, data analytics, high-performance computing, payment processing, HR tech, CPG, AI, and fashion, holding every CxO title (except COO). Shah holds seven patents in intellectual property licensing, consumer loyalty, couponing, and payment technology and a degree in Political Economy from Williams College. Notably, he completed college computer science courses at the age of thirteen, and IPO’d four companies by 27.

Holding a range of patents, Alex’s continued focus on IP-rich technology with a clear path to commercialization enables him to accelerate any company’s organic and inorganic growth strategies. Alex served on the Advanced Research Board at Mass General Brigham (Harvard Medical), and a Presidential Task Force, holding top secret and special clearances.

Most recently he was appointed Adjunct Professor at Williams College teaching the multi-disciplinary course: “INFLUENCE: A new currency”. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political economy from Williams College and completed his college comp sci classes at 13.
