Cardenas, Stefan

Stefan Cardenas is an accomplished software engineer & cloud architect with extensive experience in leading engineering teams across startups and enterprise organizations. Stefan is currently the Co-Founder & CTO of Amira Labs, where he is focusing on crafting innovative media solutions based on AI and cloud technologies for diverse sets of customer audiences. Prior to his current role, Stefan led a team of machine learning engineers at a data visualization startup named Grafiti, and was also responsible for developing scalable, distributed infrastructure services for Argo Group International. He earned a Master's degree in Civil & Structural Engineering from Columbia University, where he was a computational mechanics research assistant. In his spare time, Stefan is an avid tennis player and enjoys spending time with his family between the US and Colombia.
