George Carens is Director of Data Insights at Samsung Ads, the advertising monetization arm of Samsung Electronics. At Samsung, George leads a team of high performance Data Insight Analysts that help Samsung’s Agency, Brand and Media Clients understand the dynamic shifts occurring in consumers’ real-time TV viewing behavior and to leverage these insights to inform their media strategies. His team has launched several high-impact solutions including Streaming Segments, Reach Advisor and App Retention & Engagement as well as numerous custom deep dives that are helping advertisers optimally reach and engage their audiences as they explore content across TV and mobile platforms.  

Prior to Samsung, George successfully led organizations through dynamic marketplaces, transforming traditional media research and data businesses into multi-media, digital businesses including roles as Chief Growth Officer and Chief Revenue Officer for Kantar Media North America and President of Kantar Media Advertising Intelligence.  Prior to Kantar Media, George held various management, marketing strategy and business development positions with the Nielsen Company, where he led media planning software and healthcare media research businesses.
