Tanz, Peter

Peter Tanz is the President of Midwest Communications, a family broadcasting company with 80 radio stations.   Peter joined Midwest in 1985 as an advertising sales representative and was promoted to his first General Manager’s role in 1987.   These past 39 years at Midwest, he’s led stations in Wisconsin, Nebraska, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.    In 2023, Peter was named President, succeeding company founder Duke Wright.  Peter is involved with multiple organizations in the communities Midwest serves and he’s currently a member of the board of the South Dakota Broadcasters Association.
