Morgan, Leslie
Leslie Morgan is the Head of Digital for Hidden Pigeon Company, the company founded in 2023 by prolific
award- winning and New York Times Best Selling children’s author Mo Willems, Stampede Ventures and Red
Bird Capital. In the first three months since joining the company, she launched all of their social channels,
achieving millions of views and tens of thousands of comments and a follower growth of 1000%, opening
monetization on YouTube and Facebook. Prior to her time at Hidden Pigeon, she was a consultant for high
profile digital creators and celebrities to help scale and diversify their businesses.
Morgan has worked in digital for sixteen years. She is a frequent contributor for such publications as Ad Age,
and Digiday. Past clients include Hank and John Green’s Complexly as Acting Interim COO where she helped
with a re-organization of the company, developed company-wide processes, secured a long term paid
partnership with TikTok, and secured the PBS digital studios Zoology series. She was acting GM for Spy Ninja
Network, doubling the size of their team and working with them across their 6 YouTube channels. Other
clients include The Chosen, Lightricks (Facetune and Videoleap), media research company Latitude, campus
marketing agency IQ along with several high- profile celebrity and online creators where she provided
content strategy, format development, operational management and business development.
She began her consulting work in 2017 with Primary Wave Entertainment, working with President Jeff Gaspin
and their client Justin Baldoni of Wayfarer Entertainment to bring projects to multiple digital platforms. She
worked with Canvas Media Studios, a division of EOne, where she was Consulting Producer on Facebook
Watch show Wear It to Win It.
Prior to her consulting work, Morgan oversaw all lifestyle and branded programming for Endemol Shine
Beyond USA, the digital studio of Endemol Shine North America for three years. She was focused on
developing original series across a wide array of global platforms and with such talent as Pitbull, Courtney
Love and Drea DeMatteo. She created and oversaw ICON, the Joint Venture with Michelle Phan (9M on
social), a female-driven digital network focused on beauty, fashion, comedy, relationships, wellness and
travel. She scaled the business to five territories and over 50 million views a month in the first six months of
launch. Morgan sold five series to streaming and OTT platforms including Go90 and Yahoo! She was
instrumental in negotiating strategic partnerships with OWN and Nylon Magazine as well as oversaw and
managed deals with Dove, Subway, L’Oreal, Nickelodeon and mobile game company King.com.
She has also worked with brands such as Kraft, Clorox, Unilever, Palm Pre Technology, Menchie's Frozen
Yogurt and others to create award-winning branded video campaigns and communities. She won a Silver
Telly Award for her work on the Kraft Real Women of Philadelphia digital campaign that helped grow Kraft’s
Philadelphia Cream Cheese sales by 8%.
She is currently on the VidCon Advisory Board having worked as a board member from 2015-2022. VidCon is
a Viacom company that is a multi-genre video tech conference held in multiple territories. She hosted and
moderated the main stage at VidCon Anaheim in 2023. Other notable speaking events include NAB in Las
Vegas.
Morgan got her start in digital at BermanBraun (now Whalerock), EQAL and Revision3/Discovery Digital
Networks to develop engaging and entertaining programming with talent including Paula Deen, Sherri
Shephard and Kobe Bryant. She lives in Long Beach, CA with her husband and daughter.
