Raphael George is a dynamic leader in the media industry, currently serving as the Vice President of Affiliate Sales and Content at Superadio Networks. With a career spanning over several years, Raphael has garnered a reputation as a respected and results-driven professional.
In his current role at Superadio Networks, Raphael plays a pivotal role in affiliating new radio stations for programming and imaging services. He excels in developing marketing strategies to expand reach and maintains strong relationships with decision-makers, consultants, and influencers within the industry. Raphael is also instrumental in the team reporting process to management and collaborates across departments to achieve sales goals.
Prior to his role at Superadio Networks, Raphael held several notable positions, including Director of Sales for BDSradio at The Nielsen Company, the global leader in market measurement. And associate director of charts for Billboard Magazine and Radio & Records Magazine, where he managed all radio formats and contributed editorial and music analysis for both print and digital products. His expertise extended to representing the department within the record label, radio station, and retail communities.
Raphael's journey in radio began with pivotal roles such as Assistant Program Director of WPHI-FM in Philadelphia and Producer at WILD-AM in Boston. He assisted in the launch of WNBM-FM in New York and rose to the role of program director. Throughout his professional journey, he has garnered numerous industry and community honors, reflecting his commitment to excellence and leadership in the field of media and entertainment.
