LaPlatney, Pat

Donald P. (“Pat”) LaPlatney has served as a director and president and co-chief executive officer of Gray Television since January 2019. Immediately prior to the joining the company, LaPlatney served as the CEO and president of Raycom Media, Inc., a television broadcasting and media company acquired by Gray in January 2019. LaPlatney also served as a member of the board of directors of Raycom from 2016 until January 2019. Prior to that, he served as chief operating officer of Raycom and as senior vice president from 2012 to April 2016.  LaPlatney joined the company as VP-Digital Media in 2007. 

Before joining Raycom in 2007, LaPlatney held various executive positions at Westwood One, Raycom Sports, and Blair Television.   Additionally, LaPlatney currently serves as Television Board Chair of the National Association of Broadcasters and past-chair of the NBC Affiliate Board.
