Bengtsson, Marcus

Marcus Bengtsson is the Chief Technology Officer at Original Syndicate, a full service live, and virtual production company based in Los Angeles, California. Marcus has spent the last 15 years in various positions in the entertainment technology industry - from engineering to product management, to sales and business development. Marcus started his career in Sweden. but relocated to the United States in 2017 where he quickly established himself at the forefront of the emerging field of virtual production. Marcus holds a degree in Software Engineering and Management and is a published author, award-winning engineer, and inventor of several patents. Marcus is actively involved in industry efforts to standardize workflows and protocols, and to establish best practices that can help move the industry forward as a whole. When he is not trying to solve previously unsolved problems, Marcus enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, rock climbing, scuba diving, good food, and good wine.
