Scott Zabielski is the Chief Content Officer of Channel 1 – the first AI-powered streaming news network. In his role, he oversees all content and distribution.

A native of Chicago, Zabielski began his career after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema Production from the USC School of Cinematic Arts. He worked producing and editing promos, movie trailers, and reality shows before moving into TV comedy. He produced and edited the pilot of Comedy Central’s Tosh.0 and quickly rose to Director / Executive Producer, where he helmed the show for nearly 200 episodes. He also wrote and directed the Super Bowl commercial Middle Seat for Doritos, winning $1 million when his spot was chosen as the favorite from thousands of submissions worldwide.

Zabielski developed Police Academy for New Line / Warner Bros. and wrote/directed Where’s The Money starring Terry Crews, Mike Epps, and Method Man for Lionsgate. He co-created and wrote, directed, and served as showrunner for three seasons of The Jim Jefferies Show on Comedy Central and has directed three comedy specials for Netflix. He most recently served as showrunner and director on a pilot for TBS produced by Bill Burr and starring Rob Riggle.
