Sean McCarthy is a Director of Platform Product in the Video Technology Group at Paramount Global, where he works on video platforms for Paramount +, CBS Sports, CBS News, Pluto TV, Network 10 and legacy Viacom brands. Sean is primarily focused on building products which optimize video delivery and the playback experience as well as innovative solutions to combat video stream piracy. This includes CDN management and decisioning technologies as well as high-volume real-time data platforms. His professional background includes work in the CDN, video encoding and media analytics space. Prior to joining Paramount, Sean spent time at Bitmovin and Akamai.
