Dominguez, Matthew
Matthew Dominguez is currently the Director of Digital Distribution and Partnerships for Cox Media Group. During his time at Cox Media Group, he has successfully led company-wide initiatives to innovate towards the future of streaming in local news. In his time at Cox, he’s exponentially grown the company's digital distribution FAST channel business for eight of Cox Media Group's local news TV markets to streaming twelve partners. Matthew handled the entire process for these new partnerships from start to finish, from initial partner outreach, deal negotiation and execution, technical and operational onboarding, launch and promotional strategy and ongoing daily partner management. These efforts have led to significant, measurable results for the business, with exponential revenue and viewership growth.
Matthew’s experience and expertise have been recognized across the industry, as he was selected as a winner for the 2022 NYC TV Week 40 Under 40 awards and regularly speaks on panels including NAB NYC's Streaming Summit and TVNewsCheck.
Prior to Cox Media Group, Matthew held positions at Fuse Media and Food Network, in the areas of AVOD/SVOD/FAST distribution, digital production operations and OTT content strategy. He holds a Bachelor of Science from New York University and a Master of Science from Northwestern University.
