Meardi, Gianluca

Gianluca's career has been guided by his passion for blending creativity, technology, and business, sparked by an early fascination with the Star Wars movie franchise. His professional journey started at PwC, where he led the Digital Transformation practice and won the Global Innovation Challenge reaching a historical record. Later, at IBM, he led IBM iX and IBM Studios, again blending technology and creativity. 

Presently, as the General Manager at V-Nova Studios, Gianluca is dedicated to transforming the film industry, aiming for a cinematic revolution that stands as the most significant innovation in the movie industry since the introduction of sound. With V-Nova PresenZ, a unique volumetric 6DoF format, his goal is to produce and support the production of immersive, cinematic-grade films that draw audiences into the very heart of the narrative. His educational background, including a Master’s in Strategy and Innovation from Oxford’s Saïd Business School, has been instrumental in shaping his approach to leadership and innovation.
