Crow, Gina
Gina Crow is an Italian-American director, writer, and producer based in Los Angeles, California.
With a background as a music producer and international DJ spanning a decade, Crow blends music and film with cutting-edge technology, lending her directorial vision to music video, commercial, and narrative work. In music videos, she’s directed for Seven Lions, Eli & Fur, Andrew Bayer, and others. Her recent biopic, No Silence, amplifies the voices of LGBTQ+ musicians, released in June 2023 through Amazon Music.
Last year, Crow partnered with Fuse Technical Group, ARRI, Inc., and FotoKem to direct and produce an action thriller short film–exclusively shot on an LED volume stage using virtual production. The film, Dark in Berlin, stars Christine Ko (Dave, The Handmaid’s Tale) & Miki Ishikawa (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier) in a raw, visceral entry to the female-forward action genre. Dark in Berlin will begin its festival run in spring 2024.
Currently, Crow is in development on a feature-length adaptation of a British medical thriller with New State Pictures, in collaboration with Atlantic Books. As a co-founder of Red Kite Productions, she’s pursuing female-forward narratives in film & tv on an international level.
