
Rosen, Mitch
Mitch Rosen is the Operations Director and Vice President for Audacy’s WSCR Radio, better known as “The Score” Chicago’s top-rated sports talk station as well as Milwaukee’s popular sports radio entry, The Fan. A sports radio industry leader, Rosen is also Vice President of the BetQL Network, where he oversees 100 hours a week of live content.
Mitch was born in Skokie, Illinois and graduated from Minnesota’s Winona State University. In 1988 he embarked on a radio career starting at WGN Radio producing the late night radio show of the legendary
“Chicago” Eddie Schwartz, whom he followed to WLUP in 1992. Two years later, Rosen was named General Manager of the Chicago Rockers of the Continental Basketball Association but returned to his first love of radio in 1997, he was placed in management at WKTU in New York. He came home to Chicago later that year when he was named Program Director at WMVP-AM.
After a successful run at WMVP, Rosen was named Program Director of the Score in 2005. Under Rosen’s leadership, WSCR acquired the broadcast rights for the Chicago Cubs and Bulls and has
consistently been rated as the area’s most popular sports radio outlet with the development of popular Score programs such as Mully and Haugh, Bernstein and Holmes and Parkins and Spiegel. Mitch lives in Chicago with his wife, Mary and his 23-year-old son, Ben. He has served on the local board of directors of the American Diabetes Association and is involved with other charitable organizations and is a huge sports fan.
