Head of TV/Film at Audible

Jackie Levine joined Audible in 2022 as Head of TV/Film. In this role she strategically identifies Audible properties that are ripe for adaptation into TV or film, packages these projects and sells them to the entertainment community. She has found some great initial success on the adaptation front. Levine oversees development and all aspects of production for these projects as well as acting as the liaison between Audible and Amazon Prime Video and Freevee. As part of her role she is working to create a strategic alliance between Audible and Amazon Prime Video which includes supporting stand alone audio originals to help build franchises with Amazon Prime Video.

Previously, Levine served as the President of Creative Affairs for ImageMovers, where she produced with Robert Zemeckis and Jack Rapke as well as oversaw development and production of the company’s feature film and television projects.

Levine has served as executive producer on Manifest, now in its fourth supersized season on Netflix and the series, Project Blue Book for the History Channel. She also executive produced Medal of Honor, a docuseries for Netflix, and Critical Mass, for National Geographic. She also served as a co-executive producer for What/If, a scripted series for Netflix. At ImageMovers, Levine worked on Contact, Jetson’s, Death Becomes Her and Deep Cover, to bring the popular podcast to TV in partnership with Universal Television.

Additionally, Levine served as Producer on Finch for Amblin Partners, directed by Miguel Sapochnik. Starring Tom Hanks and Caleb Landry Jones. She also served as Executive Producer on The Witches for director Robert Zemeckis, starring Anne Hathaway and Octavia Spencer, and based on the classic Roald Dahl novel.

Levine also served as an executive producer on Zemeckis' Welcome to Marwen for Universal Pictures, starring Steve Carell. And, Levine served as an executive producer on Allied, which starred Brad Pitt and was directed by Zemeckis for Paramount Pictures. She served as an executive producer on The Walk, which starred Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Levine works with a wide range of A-list filmmakers, showrunners and writers, with her focus on finding and developing quality film and television projects. She oversaw development and production on Flight, directed by Zemeckis and starring Denzel Washington who was nominated for an Academy Award©, Reel Steel, and The Borgias episodic series on Showtime.

Before joining ImageMovers, she was the Senior VP of Production and Development at Walden Media where she oversaw Prince Caspian, Narnia 2, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, Narnia 3, The Waterhorse, Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium, Amazing Grace, Sahara, The Game of the Their Lives and many others. Earlier, Levine packaged movies for the foreign financing company Cobalt Media where she helped put together and find financing for Open Range, The House of Sand and Fog and Swimfan, which she developed at Michael Douglas’ Further Films where she oversaw development and production on Don’t Say a Word and One Night at McCool’s as well as other Douglas projects. Before her tenure at Further Films, Levine served as associate producer on Mighty Joe Young with Tom Jacobsen for Disney.

Levine began her film career as an assistant to Donna Roth and Susan Arnold at Roth/Arnold Productions where she worked on Benny & Joon before being promoted to serve as an associate producer on Unstrung Heroes and Grosse Point Blank.
