Jacobs, Evan

Evan Jacobs, VP of Finishing and Stereo at Marvel Studios since 2014, oversees final color correction and 3D conversion for all theatrical, streaming, and animation projects. His teams' work has earned recognition from the HPA and Advanced Imaging Society for projects like Avengers: Endgame, Guardians of the Galaxy vol 3 and WandaVision.

Before Marvel, Jacobs honed his skills as a visual effects supervisor on films like Olympus Has Fallen and Resident Evil: Extinction. He gained valuable experience learning from industry leaders at Boss Film Studios and Fantasy II Film Effects before co-founding Vision Crew Unlimited. There, he contributed to films like Armageddon, The Mummy, and Titanic, as well as various commercials.

Jacobs has received accolades, including Emmy and Visual Effects Society award nominations for HBO's From the Earth to the Moon and Cartoon Network’s Ben 10: Alien Swarm.

An active member of industry organizations like AMPAS, PGA, and VES, Jacobs has also shared his expertise at industry conferences and served as an instructor at UCLA's Entertainment Studies Extension Program.
