The HBO Camera Assessment Series (CAS), started over 10 years ago, is an on-going project that seeks to create a rich and expansive image library, available to producers, directors, and cinematographers across the entire Warner Bros. Discovery family. The goal of this one-of-a-kind project is to not determine what camera is “best,” but to determine what camera is appropriate for each individual scenario we face across the vast quantity of productions made by the HBO, and the wider Warner Bros. Discovery. Attendees will have the opportunity to view screening of the most recent assessment process in the series. An audience Q&A and discussion will follow, hosted by Stephen Beres and Suny Behar, creators of the CAS. NOTE: For the purposes of the screening, this session will take place in W210-W212 instead of in CineCentral, on the show floor. This session is available with an Exhibits Pass(All-Badge Access) - it does NOT require a Core Education Collection Pass. A follow up in-depth project technical and critical interactive seminar The Making of The HBO Camera Assessment Test Seminar will take place Tuesday, April 16, beginning at 10 a.m., in the CineCentral Lecture space.
